Quality of academic teaching in the system of tertiary education in Poland after 1990
The chapter sheds light on developments of external and internal quality assurance in academic teaching within the system of tertiary education in Poland after 1990. The focus of our study was placed on identifying causes of its evolving architecture and the most relevant advances which took place primarily between the years 2005-2021. Having presented the circumstances of transformations, as well as specific external and internal mechanisms aimed at assuring quality of academic teaching, our conclusion is that the whole system requires continuous and consistent revisions.
